Things are often not as simple as they seem; what we take for granted as a right becomes a challenge and what should be something fun and enjoyable can turn into a difficult day. This is the situation that coeliacs have to face each day, and even more so when that day includes words like restaurant, holidays, birthday, business lunch...

But today, armed with this Restaurant Guide for Coeliacs and thanks to the recently inaugurated Valencia Region Coeliac-friendly Restaurant Club, the involvement of this group of restaurateurs -and those who are yet to join- and, of course, the essential support of the Valencia Region Hotel and Tourism Business Confederation and Regional Department of Tourism, we can say that the lives of all those people who suffer directly or indirectly from the consequences of living with this food intolerance will become much easier.

In particular, we would like to thank all the restaurateurs involved for their effort. They have managed to overcome any prejudices and have openly explained each ingredient in their dishes, each supplier of their products, each culinary method they use... and above all, they have managed to listen and learn, despite often thinking that they already knew it all.
